Model Shipwrights of Niagara is a ship building club for like-minded people of any skill level; from novice to professional. We are located in the Niagara area (the Golden Horseshoe) and beyond, of Ontario, Canada, with virtual members from across Canada, the USA and further. We normally meet in the afternoon of the second Sunday of each month to present progress on our builds or to learn new skills demonstrated by other members. The date may change due to statutory holidays (check our notice below).
While our emphasis is on display models, including kits and scratch built, members also have interests in building in paper, wood and plastic.
There is no age limit and there are no membership dues. New members are welcome.
We are the first internationally recognised Chartered Chapter of the Nautical Research Guild. To learn more about the NRG visit: thenrg.org
